Keep property taxes in check.
Control rapidly rising costs so taxes don't outpace incomes, and young families, seniors, and longtime neighbors can afford to stay.
Spend wisely and show the numbers.
Focus on the community's priorities, plan beyond the current year, and post the User-Friendly Budget on time.
Respect our neighborhoods.
Tree-lined streets, historic homes, and walkable downtowns are why many of us chose Montclair. New development should fit in and contribute to the tax base.
Make getting around safe and convenient.
Streets that work for everyone, whether you're driving, parking, walking, or riding a bike. Good street design saves lives.
Get ready for the next storm.
Stormwater systems that can handle heavier rain, a healthy tree canopy, power that stays on where people go for help, and neighbors who check on each other.
Make Township services work better for residents.
From snow removal to pool passes, services should be reliable and easy to reach, with permits and licenses issued online.
